First, we headed out for 5 days in Hope, Idaho at David and Tiffany's vacation home, along with 3 other families. 8 adults, 8 kids, oh my... It was a blast though. The weather was perfect -- we swam, fished off the dock, went wakeboarding, ate outside everyday, and the kids played so well together.
From Hope, we drove a little further east to Glacier National Park, where we camped with the boys for another 4 nights. Somehow the stars aligned for our trip, and we were able to find campsites in the park, even after arriving late, without reservations. We also saw lots of wildlife, including 4 bears, 1 moose, and a marmot. It was great for the boys to see bears up close for the first time, but ironically Austin was so much more fascinated by the chipmunks in our campsite...go figure.
After the 14-hr drive home from Glacier (who's idea was it to do that all in one day?), we spent 2 days at home before Lloyd and I took off for Cabo on our own for 8 whole days, leaving the kids with grandparents :) We got back from Cabo last weekend, spent another 2 days at home before heading up to Seattle, where we are currently hanging out until Sunday.
Oh, and at some point during the month, I accepted a new position at Microsoft, and quit my job at HP. We got the house cleaned up and prepped earlier this week. It is officially on the market now, and we are packing up to move to Seattle in about 3 weeks. It's a little overwhelming!
